What we do
Most steel packages pass through three different companies before they are complete. Ours don't. Casadei Steel details, fabricates and erects with its own people — so nothing gets lost between the model, the shop and the field.
One of the largest detailing departments in Michigan, with more than 160 years of combined experience. We model in SDS/2, deliver BIM models to other trades for coordination, and work fluently in Bluebeam Revu and AutoCAD.

A 93,000 sq. ft. shop running state-of-the-art CNC automated equipment, turning out up to 1,500 tons a month. Every welder is AWS certified and every piece clears quality control to AISC standards.

Our history
Casadei Steel was started in December of 2001 by brothers Bruno and Robert Casadei. Since then it has grown into one of the biggest fabricators in the state of Michigan, completing hundreds of structural steel projects of every size and complexity.
All the aspects of steel construction — detailing, fabrication and erection — are done in-house, in order to give our customers the best possible experience on every job.
